Outdoor socket and shed electrical supply in Dulwich
A weatherproof external power point and armoured supply cable, installed to give this Dulwich home safe, reliable power outside.
Project overview
The homeowner wanted dependable power outside, with a supply for their garden shed and a weatherproof socket for outdoor use. We installed a purpose-built external system designed to cope with British weather.
We fitted an IP66-rated weatherproof double socket with a hinged, sealed cover. It suits garden tools, lighting, pressure washers and other outdoor equipment.
All the outdoor wiring uses armoured (SWA) cable , tough enough to run outside and out to the shed. The cables are clipped to the plinth wall at regular intervals for a tidy, secure finish.
